Upon the demise of legendary punk band Black Flag, lead singer Henry Rollins struck out with a new, self-monikered band. Originally formed in 1986, the pummeling rock juggernaut that is the Rollins Band made its name through years of constant touring including memorable performances on the inaugural Lollapalooza tour, at Woodstock ‘94, and at the 37th Annual GRAMMY Awards where the band was nominated for a GRAMMY award for Best Metal Performance for the song “Liar.” Summer 2006 saw the classic Rollins Band lineup reunite once again for a co-headlining tour with seminal Los Angeles band X.
